What Does It Mean to Be a Guardian Alumni?
Data confirms that staying connected and building your sober peer community is a vital piece of staying sober and truly thriving in your new life in recovery. At each of our Guardian locations we hold monthly and semimonthly alumni meetings. It doesn’t matter which treatment center you originally attended; as a Guardian alumni you are encouraged to attend any and all of our free, regularly scheduled alumni meetings.

New England
The Plymouth House & Pine Tree Recovery Center Online Alumni Meetings are held on the first and third Monday of every month. Fellowship begins at 6:30pm, meeting begins at 7:00pm. Button below will only work a few minutes prior to the start of the meeting.
Florida
Immersion Recovery Center holds its in person monthly alumni meeting the last Sunday of each month at 3333 S. Congress Ave, Delray Beach, FL. Contact Chris at [email protected] to make sure you are recognized if you are celebrating an anniversary.
New Jersey
Guardian IOP holds its in-person meeting every other Tuesday at our New Brunswick, NJ location (172 Livingston Ave) at 7pm.

Immersion is a fantastic program. The combination of 12 step work with therapy is exactly what I needed and have not found in other facilities. Additionally, they do their best to introduce you to the local recovery community to give you the best chance at success after leaving their program. The staff, from the techs to the therapists, are some of the best I’ve encountered. I would recommend this program to family and to friends without hesitation.

It's difficult to describe in words how grateful I am to have been referred to and to have completed the inpatient treatment program here at Immersion Recovery Center. I feel what sets them apart from other treatment centers is the staff. The vast majority (if not all) of the employees are in recovery themselves. They each possess a sincere passion for the 12 steps and profess the AA message with a refreshing and down-to-earth delivery...and most importantly, a SOLUTION.This program fosters a hands-on approach to recovery that requires vigorous honesty, extreme dedication and hard work from each client. I had personally struggled to get through a lot of this step work outside the program in "real-life". Here at Immersion, the staff works closely with each client -- all the way from the top executives at the office on down to the techs at the residence...even the kitchen staff. All are willing, able and more than happy to help you find sobriety or lend an ear when in need.Please take note: this is not your average treatment center. Unfortunately, some of us are looking to "dry out" or get a quick "oil change". For those of us that aren't done yet, I suggest you not waste Immersion's valuable time and resources. However, If you or a loved one are looking to break free from active addiction and find peace and solace in recovery, look no further than Immersion Recovery Center.

Let me start off by saying no treatment center is perfect and everybody makes mistakes but 99% of these bad reviews are fake or are very far from truth. I came out to immersion scared not knowing what was gonna happen all I knew was that I needed a treatment center that was 90 days or more. I have a year as of 09/06/2023. This treatment center truly saved my life and do I agree with everything they do? No I do not but I have been to many places and this is the best one for me! Not everybody might feel the same way and that's okay but I waited over a year to write a review and not just two days in detox and got mad then left a review.I did the full 5 months and still go monthly to alumni meetings and I stay connected and followed every recommendation that was given to me! I followed what i was told and that's how I stayed sober. I am grateful for the opportunity immersion gave me to have an amazing life in recovery!

I wanted to give myself a few weeks to acclimate after a month at immersion and truly reflect on my time here. This was my first and hopefully last experience with rehab. It was life changing; for the better. Immersion truly saved my life. The techs' compassion and support is unmatched. Kellea, Mike, John, Lauren, Jason, and Olivia, I cannot begin to thank you enough for the many ways you have helped me; through one of my hardest times in my life to helping me to change my perspective of life. As far as therapy, the professionalism and intelligence of Dr. Dan is to thank for truly helping me to understand myself and helping me turn my life around. He did more for me in 4 weeks than a decade of therapy had done for me. He truly cares and advocates for his clients. Going into Immersion i had no clue how to handle my emotions, make life manageable, setup healthy boundaries, or love myself. They got me off of my substance dependency and gave me the tools I needed to grow in every aspect of life. I am forever grateful for my experience at Immersion. I was given some options for continuing care after detox and residential treatment. I chose to go to Immersion with great confidence knowing this facility would work with me to build a strong foundation in AA, the Big Book and the 12 Steps, while addressing past trauma and emotional pain, both of which were the root of my alcohol and drug use for decades. Immersion is professionally operated and the staff is empathetic, empowering, and excellent in their delivery of hope and healing. Their message is clear: there is a solution and I can recover. I thought I had been to some of the “best” treatment centers around, but none compares to this place. From the owner, to the directors, to the clinical staff, and beyond, everyone was actively involved in my care and on-site everyday. I received so many tools to move forward and thrive, with a new perspective and a new approach to life. It is a blessing and a beautiful gift.

I highly recommend Immersion Recovery Center. It was not easy for me to come from out of state to here but everyone made me feel so comfortable. The facilities are all nice a clean.All the staff here from the techs, nurses, Case Managers, 12 Step Coordinators and therapists were very caring and helped me through a difficult time. Not only did they work with me on my alcohol addiction but with my mental issues as well. When it was time to leave the helped me put together a reasonable after care plan so I know what my next step was to be.This is not my first time in treatment but this has been the best facility I have been in. Not only did I learn about the 12 Steps but about myself.

Immersion Recovery Center is a phenomenal treatment facility that is very client focused and dedicated to recovery. The staff (techs, therapists) all care for the client’s wellbeing and path to recovery. This center is 12-step based and works with you to ensure you are an active participant in your sobriety. Immersion offers group and individual sessions, while also providing activities that encourage the idea that sobriety can be fun. I came here broken and lost, holding onto the little self-esteem I had. And, I can honestly say that I am leaving Immersion a better person and much more committed to honoring the 12-step traditions.
